About HobbyTools

HobbyTools is a growing collection of free utility tools and AI-powered generators built for people who take their hobbies seriously. Whether you're loading a barbell, writing a chord progression, or planning a camera build — we have a tool for that.

Every tool here is free to use. No signup required. No ads that get in the way of actually using the thing. The static tools (calculators, converters) run entirely in your browser and cost nothing to run, so they'll always be free. The AI-powered tools are free up to 5 uses per day — they call Claude, so there's a real cost on our end, but we're happy to cover that for hobbyists who use them in moderation.

Philosophy

Most tool sites are built to maximise ad revenue, not to be actually useful. Pages are cluttered, slow, and designed to keep you scrolling rather than solving your problem. HobbyTools is the opposite: the tool is the page, ads are minimal and non-intrusive, and everything loads fast.
